Good thing is that help is at hand. Most people tend to just worry a lot and try to fight it all by themselves. You don’t need to do that, your Auntyji is here, no?
Until they hit puberty it is normal for young boys to have a foreskin that can’t slide all the way back over the head of the penis. But by the time most boys are 10 years old, about half of them can pull back their foreskin. By the age of 18, about 99 percent of men can do this.
However, there are still some people who are unable to do it even after 18. And it sounds like you could be one of them. It could be that you have a condition called phimosis. But you should not panic because it’s not worth panicking.
StretchingThere are things you can try on your own to help your foreskin easily slide back over the head of your penis. Start with stretching exercises during your shower. You should pull the foreskin forward away from the body, then pull it back as so it feels tight without being painful and keep it stretched for a couple of minutes. Make it a routine for a couple of times a day. And do it gradually, one step at the time.
Another way that might help to stretch your foreskin I think you might enjoy. When you masturbate (like nearly all men do) hold your penis in your hand and rub up and down so your foreskin is pulled back and forth and gently stretches.
DoctorAbhi betaji, if you don’t notice much improvement after stretching, then it is certainly time to consult the doctor. You might feel embarrassed at first, but once you have plucked up courage I’m sure you will feel very relieved.
The doctor will be able to say if your trouble is phimosis, or maybe something else. Maybe you have a very short frenulum – it’s the sensitive band of skin attaching your foreskin to the head of your penis underneath.
For phimosis, the doctor might prescribe you steroid ointment like betamethasone cream. This can be really effective. Do talk to medical practitioner before putting anything like this on your body though.
Plenty of solutionsIf this isn’t enough, another possibility is a minor operation to widen the foreskin, called preputioplasty. Finally, circumcision is also a possible treatment, but that is absolutely the last resort. Hopefully you will not have to get that far. But it’s good to know that there are plenty of solutions available.
My dear puttarji, always remember every problem has a solution, it is just that one has to find it. So don’t think of yourself as abnormal. Just go meet the doctor and start the treatment. Within a relatively short time everything will be fine. I am sure very soon you will even forget that there was ever something like this in your life. Keep smiling.
