How to measure your penis?

Many people are curious about the size of their penis and may wish to measure it. But what’s the right technique? Should you measure from top to bottom? What about the width? Do you have these questions in mind? And does size really matter? We have all the information right here for you.

When to measure?

Your penis should be fully erect before you measure it. Start by obtaining an erection. Morning times are usually the best when you may have an erection. However, if you do not, then either get an erection through physical stimulation or by imagining sexually arousing scenarios. Once you have an erection, position yourself in a comfortable and private area. You may find it helpful to use a mirror or ask a partner for assistance.

From where to where?

To measure your penis, you'll need a ruler or tape measure.  To measure the length of your penis, place the ruler or tape measure at the base of your penis, where it connects to your pubic bone. Press the ruler or tape measure firmly against your skin, and measure to the tip of your penis. Be sure to take note of the measurement in either inches or centimetres.

To measure the girth/width of your penis, use a flexible measuring tape. Wrap the tape around the thickest part of your penis, ensuring that it's snug but not too tight. Take note of the measurement in inches or centimetres.

What’s an average/normal size?

It's important to note that penis size varies greatly among individuals, and there is no ‘normal’ size. In India, the average penis length when erect is about 5.16 inches (13.12 cm), while the average girth is about 4.59 inches (11.66 cm). However, some penises may be smaller or larger than this, and all sizes are considered normal.

It's also important to understand the difference between length and girth. Length refers to the distance from the base of the penis to the tip, while girth refers to the thickness or circumference of the penis.

Some people may prefer a longer penis, while others may prefer a thicker penis. Ultimately, penis size is not the most important factor in sexual pleasure or satisfaction.

Does size really matter?

You must remember that penis size does not determine your sexual power or capability. A small penis is equally capable of satisfying your partner just as a big penis is. Also, the size of the penis does not determine your fertility or childbearing capability. For a woman to get pregnant, only a small drop of semen is required from any size of the penis!

Also, a fulfilling, happy and content sexual relationship is based on mutual respect, communication, and intimacy. Other factors, such as emotional connection, physical compatibility, and sexual skills, are much more important than penis size.

Measuring your penis can be a personal choice. Do it correctly and without any judgment. Penis size is just one aspect of your body and other factors are much more important to make a sexual relationship last longer.

Accept and love your body for what it is, and focus on having fun in a relationship, where you both make each other happy and content, not just physically and sexually but also mentally and emotionally!
