How to have sex without risk of pregnancy?

Submitted by Auntyji on Thu, 08/22/2019 - 22:25
Hi Aunty ji, I want to have sex with my girlfriend on her safe days, can you suggest how we can find those out? Chirag, 23, Guwahati

Auntyji says, ‘beta Chirag, I am so impressed! Let me tell you why.’

Pretty clear?

You are aware that there is something like safe and unsafe days beta? Impressive! And they are not linked with when she is in Mata Chamundi avatar, yes? These are linked to her period cycle! You know this, No? I Hope I am not congratulating you for no reason at all. Hain Puttar?

So for those who do not know yet, let me give you some gyan. Safe and unsafe are days about the period cycle – about her menstrual cycle. The ‘unsafe’ days are when a woman is known to be ovulating – i.e. the egg or ova gets released into her body and she is considered fertile. So that means she can get pregnant if you even so much as sneeze around her! Nahin reyyy – not really sneeze – joke Hai!  Sneezing will not help, you have to contribute your goods, .i.e. sperm, even if it is precum. And so by the definition, safe days are when she is not ovulating and so one can have sex without the risk of unplanned pregnancy.

Do the math

So what is the golden rule? Which are the days you have to avoid sex? Roughly speaking – it’s exactly mid-cycle. Ovulation usually happens two weeks after a period and lasts between 12 and 24 hours. But there is a lot of calculation and plotting involved, from the day her periods start – ityadi. This calculation is usually very tricky and it has a much bigger failure rate than success.

Safe days can be calculated only and only if she has a very regular and consistent cycle. And if she is well aware of her dates, only then can we calculate the fertile period. To do that find an ovulation calculator – that will do the job.  But, am again saying beta ji this is not a reliable system at all. Asal mein, there are no ‘real’ safe days.

You are going,‘What the hell Auntyji!’ Auntyji is laughing.

Change of course

The body can change course at any time and you won’t be getting a postcard about that, will you? So say her dates change and ovulation occurs out of the system – that month. Or the egg is still roaming in her body and sex happens – the egg has its own day and night!

Depending on this system is taking a risk – each time. And beta, I can tell you one thing, there is no bigger mood buster than worrying about the constant fear lurking under the sheets, ‘kuch ho to nahin jaayega na?

Aur beta jaan, how about you consult the body of the person where all this is going to really act out? What does the girlfriend say? Is she willing to take the chance? Are you?

Take charge

Puttar Chirag, it is better to take the safety in your hands and you can do that by always using contraception. Make condoms or pills your best friends during sex. It will help you stop worrying about the risk of an unplanned pregnancy. If you use condoms there is the additional safety from STIs. Beta ji whatever contraception method you both opt for, it ought to be, entirely in your control. Wishing you a safe and pleasurable sex life betaji!.
